Have you ever used Mailtrap or at least considered trying? We would love to hear your story and add some hygge to your dev, stage, QA, or maybe home environment 🙂

We’ll be presenting warm and cozy Mailtrap branded hoodies to the winners of our winter 2019 contest, which will be held on February 11-17, 2019 on Twitter.

How to participate?

To join, just write and post a Tweet about how you use Mailtrap within the contest period: on February 18 a randomizer will choose three lucky winners!

Share your experience!

  1. Post a Tweet describing what technologies and/or tools you use or would like to use with Mailtrap. It can be a programming language of your app, a framework you prefer, Mailtrap features you use most. We are excited to know more about your Mailtrap experience, so any kind of feedback will be appreciated. Feel free to let us know why you like or don’t like our product, which features are helpful and if something is missing.
  2. Tag @Mailtrap in this Tweet, so that we can track all Tweets during the contest.
  3. Put #Mailtrap hashtag in this Tweet.
  4. Don’t forget to make sure your Tweet is public, so we can read it even if we are not following you.

Example of an entry: “I test email sending with @Mailtrap SMTP when developing my app on Symfony. Nice fit! #Mailtrap”

Who can join?

We are pleased to welcome everyone interested in the fake SMTP capabilities and will be glad to get each of your feedback. To comply with laws and regulations, we are able to grant participation to anyone 21 and older who has registered a Twitter account before the contest’s start date.

A Mailtrap account is not required for participation in this contest but you are always welcome to sign up for a free version and check out all the features.

How will we choose the winners?

The winners will be chosen randomly. We will read each entry, check and confirm correspondence to the contest rules and then put each contestant’s Twitter name with a sequence number on a spreadsheet. On February 18, we will put all the numbers into a randomizer and the first three numbers it chooses will be the numbers of our winners.

To make the process fully transparent, we will record a short video of the selection process and post it on our Twitter along with the list of winners.

What will the winners get?

We will be giving out three prize packages:

  1. A Mailtrap branded hoodie, a pack of Mailtrap branded stickers, and an Amazon.com eGift Card
  2. A Mailtrap branded hoodie and a pack of Mailtrap branded stickers
  3. A Mailtrap branded hoodie

How will I get my prize?

In addition to posting and tagging the winners in a Tweet, we will send you a direct message on Twitter.

To be able to ship your prize, we will need your delivery address and the size of hoodie you prefer. After we get the details and your confirmation, we will send you your prize within ten working days. The delivery term will depend on your location. We will cover the shipping costs but please note that if any import duties or any other extra fees are applied at your destination, we won’t be able to cover them.

Also, please see the official rules below in this post.

Good luck and thanks for choosing Mailtrap!
