Here are some of the best practices we’ve found beneficial:
- Find out what your employee’s preferred email frequency and favorite formats are. Ask them what they’d like to hear more of and what they aren’t interested in anymore.
- Send targeted newsletters only when you have important information or updates to share. We should aim to create content that drives engagement. Repetitive or boring newsletters won’t help in that process.
- Even though we have presented 20 HR newsletter ideas, that doesn’t mean you should use them all at once. Spamming and oversaturating employee newsletter content can be overwhelming and confusing. And we want to streamline things with our newsletters, not make them harder.
- Brainstorm HR newsletter name ideas. This will keep your newsletters consistent and shape their identity. It will also make the internal employee newsletter a part of daily conversations in and outside the office.
