## Email API/SMTP

Send transactional and bulk emails via REST API or SMTP, and receive inbound email into your application. Pricing scales by monthly email volume, shared between sending and receiving.

**Use this for:** welcome emails, password resets, order confirmations, OTPs, shipping notifications, and any email triggered from your app or service. Also covers bulk and promotional sends via a dedicated Bulk Stream, plus inbound email processing for apps that need to receive and parse incoming mail.

### Emails/month and emails/day

Both limits are shared between sending and receiving — inbound emails draw from the same pool as outbound sends, rather than counting against a separate quota.

- **Emails/day:** Free is capped at 150/day. Every paid tier (Basic, Business, Enterprise) has unlimited daily sending.
- **Emails/month:** follows the plan table above (4,000 on Free, scaling up through Enterprise).
